Military Service

(Short Service Appointment 02/12/1952). He was appointed as a Midshipman (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 02/12/1952). He served in HMCS Cornwallis for Junior Aviation Officers Basic Course 1953. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 02/08/1956). He served in HMCS Shearwater as Officer-in-Charge of Drone Unit 1956. He served in HMCS Porte St. Jean as Executive Officer 1958, (Transferred to RCN(R)). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN(R) (With seniority dated 02/08/1964). He served in HMCS Donnacona. (He was released.)
