Biography
He worked at Fairey Aviation as Design Engineer in UK before his naval service. After his naval service joined Air Canada in 1966.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as an Officer Cadet RN 1960. He served in HMCS Britannia Naval College 1960. He served in RAF No.1 Flying School Linton-on-Ouse 1960. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (A) RN. He served in RNAS Culdrose for Flying Training 1962. He was Awarded Wings 29/06/1962. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) RN. He served in H.M.S. Ark Royal for Helicopter Detachment. He served in H.M.S. Centaur for 815 RN Squadron. (He served in Aden (Radfan), Borneo and East Africa campaigns 1963-1964). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (SL) RN. (He resigned 1966.)
