Biography
He attended University of Toronto Schools. He graduated from University of Toronto Medical School in 1953. He completed Post-Graduate studies in Neurology and Cardiology in London UK and Toronto ON.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 16/01/1951). He served in HMCS York for UNTD 1950-1951. He was appointed as an A'Surgeon Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority 01/03/1954). He was appointed as a Surgeon Lieutenant RCN(R) 1954. He served in HMCS York 1954 (On the retired list) (He was released 06/05/1958.)

He was co-founder and Director of the Cardiac Outpatients Clinic at Toronto General Hospital and the Pacemaker Centre there. He was founding member of the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology.
