Biography
He was the cousin of Dr. Jim Noonan. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Dunstan’s University and his degree in Education from Saint Francis Xavier University and was a respected teacher, principal and later assistant school superintendent with the Unit #2 School Board in Prince Edward Island.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1954. In 1954-1957 he served in HMCS Queen Charlotte for UNTD. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (CND) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/07/1957). (He was released 1959.)
