Biography
He served in the tug Berquist and also with the Victoria Tug Company. He worked on the Tugs Respond and Edna Grace, for Capt. W.E. Gardner, on the tug Lorne, on the tug DesBrisay for the Genoa Bay Lumber Company, reaching the position of Mate. He was Mate on the Edna Grace and received favorable recommendation for the position of skipper. His next-of-kin, was his mother, Mrs. Ann Ordano, 974 Fisgard Street, Victoria, B.C.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RNCVR. He was appointed as an Able-Seaman RNCVR (With seniority dated 22/05/1918). He served in HMCS Rainbow 1918. He served in HMCS Galiano 1918. (He was lost in HMCS Galiano in a storm off Vancouver Island BC October 30, 1918).
