He served in RCAF Kingston for Service Flying Training School. He served in H.M.S. Jackdaw for 785 Squadron 1943. He served in H.M.S. Peewit for 767 (Swordfish/Albacore) Squadron 1943. He served in H.M.S. Argus for 767 Squadron for Deck Landing Training 1943. He served in H.M.S. Condor for 754 Squadron 1943, (Transferred to RCNVR). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 05/09/1944). He served in USNAS Floyd Bennet Field Saker NY USA for Helicopter Flying Training 1944. He served in H.M.S. Condor for 783 Squadron 1944. He served in H.M.S.
