Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman (Officer Candidate UNTD) RCNVR 1943. In 1943 he served in HMCS Cataraqui for UNTD. In 1943 he spent his summer training in Halifax at a Maintenance Base. (CFR) He was appointed as a Electrical Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/05/1944). He served in HMCS Stadacona. (He was demobilized.)
