In 1902 he served as a Radio Operator with the General Post Office (UK). In 1912 he joined the Dominion Wireless Service. In 1919-1924 he served in Point Grey Radio Station. In 1924 he joined the Powell River Company as a Wireless Operator. In 1928-1958 he served as a Magistrate at Powell River BC. |

He was appointed as an A/Ist Class Wireless Telegraph Operator RNCVR (With seniority dated 15/12/1917). In 1917 he served in HMCS Niobe as Additional for Duty at Port Nelson (Wireless Telegraph Station). (He was demobilized.) |
