Military Service

He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR. He served in #13 Elementary Flying Training School. (He was awarded Wings 01/12/1944) He served in #14 Service Flying Training School. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/05/1943) (Later backdated to 1942). He served with the Royal Navy. (He was demobilized.) (He was qualified with a Watchkeeping Certificate.) (He was qualified for gunnery duties.)
