Biography |

He was a financial agent at the time of his recruitment into the navy. He emigrated to Canada in 1907 and married Letitia Jean Brydges of Nova Scotia. Father of Frederick Fell Pease and Rosalind Fell Pease. He bought a farm at Strawberry Vale near Victoria and built a farm, specializing in chickens. He later purchased ten acres of land on the hilltop overlooking Cadboro Bay which he called Hamsterley. He sold the farm about 1920 and opened the Hamsterley Farm Jam Co. in 1921. In 1921 he bought property at the summit of the Malahat and established a tea room, later sold. He established the tea room at the north end of Elk Lake, sold in in 1939. |
