He was a gardener (a founder of the Chemainus Garden Club) at the time of his recruitment into the navy. He served in the Empress of China, Empress of Japan, Princess May, Princess Mary and Maquinna. He lived in Victoria BC and Chemainus BC. He worked for the Victoria Lumber & Manufacturing Co. |
