He was living in Windsor ON at the time of his recruitment into the navy.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1959. In 1958-1960 he served in HMCS Hunter for UNTD. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/05/1963). He served in HMCS York. (He was released.)
