After his naval service he worked as an engineer in northern Ontario.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Probationary Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR. He served in HMCS Niobe for RN Observer's Course RNAS Rattray 1945. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (O) (Temp.) RCNVR. (He was demobilized.)
