Biography
He attended McGill University.He was trained as a mining engineer. He was a Director of the San Antonio Gold Mines Limited 1948. In 1954 he was the Vice President and General Manager in establishing the Winnipeg Warriors Hockey Club. He purchased the Fort Garry Hotel from Canadian National Railways, running it until 1987. He was elected to the Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame in the Builder category, and to the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame as owner of the 1958-1959 Memorial Cup Champion Winnipeg Braves.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RCNVR 1941. He was appointed to H.M.S. Raleigh (Officer Training Establishment) (Mess 32) in 1941. (CFR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR. He served in H.M.S. Raleigh (Officer Training Establishment). He served in #13 Elementary Flying Training School, #31 Service Flying Training School. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 27/03/1942). (He was demobilized.)
