After his naval service he worked with Okanagan Helicopters 1960, then Autair Helicopters 1963, then Pacific Helicopters 1963, Then Midwest Aviation in Winnipeg 1964. He joined Winnipeg Flying Club as Instructor 1965. Then joined Foothills-Klondike Helicopters 1965. Then Great Northern Airways as Flying Instructor 1966. He founded his own charter service and flying school at Whitehorse YT 1968, sold interest in 1970. Afterwards he joined Transport Canada as Instructor 1970. He served in USC Los Angeles for Accident Investigation Course 1973. He served as Air Administration Manager Yellowknife 1975, Transport Canada Ottawa 1980. (He was retired 01/07/1991.) |
