Military Service

He was appointed as a Probationary Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 09/02/1945). He served in HMCS Cornwallis for Training 1945. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority of 29/06/1945). He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #85 Observer's Course 1945. He served in RNAS Arbroath for Training. (He was demobilized.) He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (O) RCN(R) 1946. He served in RNAS Rattray for 753 RN Squadron 1946. (He died in a flying accident in the UK 08/02/1946.)
