Military Service

He was appointed as an Officer Cadet RCN. He served in RCAF Rivers for Flying Training 1963. He was Awarded Wings. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1963). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1964). He served in HMCS Shearwater and HMCS Bonaventure for VS-880 Squadron as Pilot. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1967). He was appointed as a MAJ (PLT) (With seniority dated 01/01/1977). (He was released.)
