Biography
After his naval service he returned to university. He flew TBMs in fire water-bombing and forest spraying operations. He founded the City Stage Theatre in Vancouver BC in 1969. He flew with Kenting Aviation and Conair.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/09/1953). In 1952-1953 he served in HMCS Malahat for UNTD (Victoria College). He served in HMCS Swansea for Coronation Cruise, (Transferred to RCN) Officer Cadet (ROTP) RCN. He served in HMCS Ontario for Sea Training. He was appointed as a Midshipman RCN. He served in HMCS Quebec for Sea Training. He served in HMCS Algonquin for Sea Training. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN 1957. He served in HMCS Niobe for RN General Education Warfare and Technical Courses 1957. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN 1958. He served in HMCS Niagara For Pilot Training With USN 1958, Awarded wings 1960. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VU-32 Squadron 1960. He served in HMCS Shearwater and HMCS Bonaventure for VS-880 Squadron. (He resigned 1964.)
