Military Service
He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNVR. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #56 Pilot Training Course. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in RAE Farnborough. (Transferred to RN). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (A) RN. (He was killed in a Lancaster flying accident in 1950.)
