Military Service

He was appointed as a Chaplain (C of E) (RCN) (With seniority dated 03/11/1941). He was appointed as a Chaplain (P) Class II (With seniority dated 03/11/1941). He served in HMCS Niobe as Chaplain. He served in HMCS Stadacona as Chaplain. (He was demobilized 1945). He was appointed as a Chaplain (P) Class III (With seniority dated 30/12/1948). He was appointed as a Chaplain Class IV (CofE) (With seniority dated 01/07/1950). He served in NHQ on staff of Chaplain General (P) as Deputy Chaplain General (P) of the Royal Canadian Navy 1957. He served in NHQ as Assistant Deputy Chaplain General (P) 1958. He was appointed as a Chaplain of the Fleet (P). (He was retired 16/12/1964.)
