He enlisted in Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry as a Private. (CFR). He was ccommissioned November 1916. He was wounded at Ypres (2 June 1916) and Vimy (9 April 1917). (Transferred to To Royal Flying Corps 5/06/1917). He was a flying instructor in England in RAF Gosport 5/11/1917. (He was demobilized.) |
