His next-of-kin, was his friend, W. Hardy, Agent, Sailor's Union, Powell Street, Vancouver, B.C. His father lived at Barnstaple, England.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RNCVR. He was appointed as an Able-Seaman RNCVR. He was appointed as a Leading Seaman RNCVR. He served in HMCS Galiano 1918. (He was lost in HMCS Galiano in a storm off Vancouver Island BC October 30, 1918).
