Military Service

(Short Service Appointment). He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1959). He served in HMCS Venture (Officer Training Establishment) for Training 1959. He served in RCAF Centralia for Flying Training Course. He served in RCAF Rivers for Flying Training Course. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1964). He served in RCAF Portage for Flying Training Course. He was Awarded Wings 01/11/1964. He served in HMCS Shearwater. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1964). He served in HMCS Bonaventure for VS-880 Squadron 1965. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 02/09/1968). He served in VU-32 Squadron as Flying Instructor 1969. He served in USS Intrepid for Exchange in VS-27 USN Squadron 1972. He served in USS Saratoga for VS-24 USN Squadron 1974. (With seniority dated MAJ (PLT) (With seniority dated 01/01/1975).
