Biography
He attended McGill University graduating BSC 1936 and in medicine 1940. He was married to Audrey Goodwin

 

Military Service
He was appointed as an Officer Cadet (COTC McGill University) (Transferred to RCNVR) He was appointed as a Surgeon Lieutenant RCNVR (With seniority dated 15/06/1941). In 1942 he served with the Royal Navy attached to the Fleet Air Arm. In 1942 he served in HMS Avenger. He was killed in the sinking of HMS Avenger 15/11/1942.

Anecdotes
In 1942 he was missing and presumed dead after naval operations November 15, 1942. (Casualty List December 12,1942) when HMS Avenger was torpedoed and sunk while returning from Csablanca with a North African convoy. (He had previously been on two convoys to North Russia.)
