Biography
He was living in Yorkton SK at the time of his recruitment. His early career was in the banking industry, with many moves made across the country. In 1983, the family moved to Saskatoon, and Arnie became involved in the retail business sector. The opportunities in Saskatoon allowed him to retire in 2007.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as an Officer Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1963. He served in HMCS Unicorn for UNTD 1963-1965. He served in HMCS Cornwallis for Training 1963. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/09/1965). (He was released.)

Anecdotes
In the summer of 1965, he was Editor-in-Chief - White Twist and was also awarded the Best Senior Cadet.
