Military Service

He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (S) (UNTD) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 02/01/1956). He served in HMCS Queen Charlotte for UNTD 1955-1958. He was appointed as an A/Surgeon Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1961). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (S) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1958). In 1958 he served in HMCS Scotian. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/05/1964). He served in HMCS Brunswicker. (He was released.)
