He received a commercial flying licence in Vancouver BC 06/1953. He flew with CP Air 1956-1995.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as a Midshipman RCN(R) 1954. He served in HMCS Malahat for VC-922 Reserve Squadron 1954. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (P) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 30/06/1955). He was Awarded wings 07/1955. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VT-40 Squadron 1955. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VT-32 Squadron 1955. He was appointed as an A/Lieutenant (P) RCNR (With seniority dated 30/06/1957). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (RCN(R)) (With seniority dated 30/06/1957). In 1963 he served in HMCS Malahat. (He was retired 1964.)
