He attended McGill University.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman (Officer Canadidate UNTD) RCNVR in 1945. (He was demobilized.) He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1946. In 1948-1950 he served in HMCS Donnacona for UNTD. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/09/1950). (He was released.)
