(He was qualified as a Master Mariner.) He arrived at Esquimalt BC in 1862 as Mate in the lumber schooner Alberni for two years. He served in the schooner Alice Thorndyke. He served on the Victoria-Portland run in the George S. Wright. He lived at Victoria BC. On 13/06/1876 he was appointed as a Pilot in the British Columbia Pilotage District. He was dismissed in 1879. |
