Biography |

He graduated from the BA 1952 UBC (double-major Microbiology/Bacteriology), and a PhD 1956, University of Illinois (Microbiology). He opened the Department of Microbiology at the University of Alberta in 1966 – at age 35, he was their youngest department head. In 1993 he was the Director of Scientific Services for the Brisbane (Australia) City Council. (His ashes were buried in the Solomon Islands.) |
