Biography
After his naval service he took a teaching degree at Simon Fraser University and became an elementary school principal in 1974 to the present (2000).
 
Military Service
(Short Service Appointment). He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1960). He served in HMCS Venture (Officer Training Establishment) for Training 1960. He served in HMCS Stettler for Sea Training. He was appointed as a Midshipman (SSA) RCN. He served in RCAF Centralia for Pilot Training. He served in RCAF Penhold. He served in RCAF Rivers MB. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1963). He was Awarded wings 01/09/1963. He served in HMCS Naden for VU-33 Squadron. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1963). He served in HMCS Shearwater for HU-21 Squadron. He served in HMCS Stettler 1966. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (SSA) RCN 1967. He served in MARPAC HQ for Operations as Air Controller. (He was resigned on 01/09/1968.)
