Biography |

He apprenticed in the UK as a machinist. He emigrated to Victoria and became a journeyman electrician. In 1914 he went to Seattle WA USA and qualified as with a First Class Operator's Certificate. He built electronic components for Radio Amateur Operators. In 1923 he was a Radio Technician at the Radio Workshop in Esquimalt BC. In 1937 he was a Wireless Operator at Pachena Pont Radio Station. |

He was appointed as a Fourth Class Wireless Telegraph Operator RNCVR (With seniority dated 08/05/1917). In 1917-1918 he served in HMCS Rainbow for Wireless Telegraph Duty (West Coast) at Triangle Island Radio Station. (He was demobilized.) |
