Biography
After his naval service he became a Chiropodist and emigrated to Halifax NS.

He was appointed as a Naval Airman 2/c Surveyor's Assistant RNVR (With seniority dated 09/09/1942). He served in RNAS Daedalus 1942. He served in RNAS St. Vincent 1943. He was appointed as a A/LA RNVR 1943. He served in RCAF Goderich for #12 Elementary Flying Training School 1943. He was appointed as an A/Petty Officer Airman RNVR 1944. He served in RCAF Aylmer for #14 Elementary Flying Training School 1944. (Awarded Pilots Flying Badge 19/05/1944). He served in H.M.S. Macaw 1944. (CFR). He was appointed as a Midshipman (A) RNVR (With seniority dated 28/06/1944). He served in #9 AFU (P) Errol 1944. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.)
