He served in NHQ for Courses 1949. He served in HMCS Shearwater as Air Traffic Control Officer 1949. He served in HMCS Cornwallis 1950. He served in HMCS Shearwater for 880 Squadron (31st Support Air Group) 1951. He served in HMCS Shearwater for 881 Squadron (30th Carrier Air Group) 1951. He served in HMCS Magnificent for 881 Squadron (30th Carrier Air Group) 1952. He served in HMCS Shearwater for 881 Squadron (30th Carrier Air Group) 1953. He served in HMCS Stadacona for Junior Officer's Technical and Leadership Courses 1953. He was killed in a night mid-air flying accident over Bedford Basin NS in an Avenger 09/04/1953. (He was qualified as a pilot for naval aviation. He participated in the aerial rocket attack on an ex-German U-Boat off Halifax 1947.
