Military Service

He was appointed as a Naval Airman 2/c RNVR (With seniority dated 01/10/1940). He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #20 Pilot Training Course 1940. He served in RAF Luton for Elementary Flying Training School 1940. He served in H.M.S. Lee-on-Solent 1941. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #47 RN Observers Course 1941. He served in the RNB Portsmouth 1941. He served in RNAS Arbroath for Training 1941. He served in RN College Greenwich 1942. (CFR). He was appointed as a A/Probationary Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR (With seniority dated 01/01/1942). He served in RNAS Arbroath for training 1942. He served in RNAS Dekheila for 815 RN Squadron 1942. He served in RNAS Fayid for Service With USAAF 1942. (He was demobilized.)
