Biography
He graduated with a UBC BASc (Eng) in the Spring of 1949. He is Professor Emeritus of the Utah Water Research Laboratory/Civil and Environmental Engineering.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman (Officer Candidate UNTD) RCN(R) 1946. In 1946 he served in HMCS Discovery for UNTD. (CFR) He was appointed as a A/Sub-Lieutenant (E) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 06/02/1949). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (E) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/07/19452). In 1952 he served in HMCS Discovery. (He was released.)

Anecdotes
In 1990 he was awarded the Utah Governor's Medal for Science and Technology. He is a Fellow of the American Water Resources Association.
