Biography
After his naval service he became a Certified Management Accountant in 1963. He worked with the Government of Ontario 1949, Hiram Walker & Sons Ltd. 1950-59, SKD Manufacturing Co. Ltd. 1959-72, Continental Can Canada Ltd. 1972-86 and retired 11/1986.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an AC 2/c RCAF (With seniority dated 01/10/1942). He was appointed as a LAC RCAF. He served in RCAF High River for #5 Elementary Flying Training School 1943. He served in RCAF McLeod for #7 Service Flying Training School 1943. He was Awarded Wings 1944. (CFR). He was appointed as a Pilot Officer RCAF 01/02/1944. He served in RCAF Rivers for Air and Ground navigation Instruction 1944. Flying Officer RCAF 01/04/1944. He served in RCAF Brandon as Navigation Instructor 1944. Released. (Transferred to RNVR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR 1945. He served in H.M.S. Macaw 1945, RAF Errol for #9 AFU 1945. He served in RNAS Arbroath for 803 RN Squadron 1945. He served in RNAS Nutts Corners for 803 RN Squadron 1945. He served in H.M.S. Seaborn for Release 1946, Released 1946.
