Biography
After his naval service he joined the DND Joint Intelligence Bureau 1949-50. He served in DND Secretary's Branch as Secretary Interdepartmental Committee and Liaison Officer (External Affairs) 1951-54. He was appointed as Executive Assistant 1954. He served in NATO & OEEC Canadian Delegation as Secretary, Chargé D'Affaires Copenhagen. He was appointed as A/High Commissioner Malaysia. He was appointed as Government of Canada Federal-Provincial Coordinator (Western Canada).
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Midshipman (Temp.) RCNVR 1942. He served in HMCS Chippawa 1942. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 26/06/1943). He served in HMCS Kings (Officer Training Establishment) for LL Division 1943. He served in H.M.S. St. Christopher for Coastal Forces Course and 6th MGB Flotilla Lowestoft 1943.
