Biography
After his naval service he graduated from Dalhousie Law School in 1981. He had a private practice and then joined CAE as Director of Contract and Legal Counsel. He retired to Parksville BC. He served on the Parksville City Council.
 
Military Service
(Short Service Appointment). He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 14/09/1955). He served in HMCS Venture (Officer Training Establishment) for Training 1955. He was appointed as a Midshipman (P) (SSA) RCN 1957. He underwent Flying Training. He was Awarded Wings. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/05/1959). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/05/1959). He served in HMCS Shearwater and HMCS Bonaventure for VS-881 Squadron 1959. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/06/1961). He served in HMCS Shearwater for Observer School as Instructor. He served in NDHQ on Staff of Vice Chief of the Defence Staff as Aide. He served in HMCS Saguenay. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VX-10 Squadron. He served in HMCS Algonquin for HS-50 Detachment. (He was retired 1976.)
