Biography
He was a celebrated marine artist. In 1978 he was commissioned to create two paintings for presentation to HM the Queen for the Captain Cook Bicentennial. In 1983 he had a one-man show "The History of the Royal Navy in British Columbia" at the Vancouver Maritime Museum.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman (Officer Candidate UNTD) RCN(R) 1946. He served in HMCS Donnacona for UNTD 1946-1950. He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) (McGill University) RCN(R) 1950. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 06/02/1950). He served in HMCS La Hulloise 1952-1954. He served in HMCS Lauzon 1954-1955. He served in HMCS Labrador 1956-1957. He served in HMCS Star 1958-1959. (He was released in 1959).
