H ewas living in Ottawa ON at the time of his recruitment into the navy.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as an Officer Cadet RCN 1949. He served in Royal Roads Military College (HMCS Malahat) under UNTD Plan 1949-1951. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (E) RCN. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (E) RCN. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (E) RCN (With seniority dated 01/05/1954). He served in HMCS Magnificent. He served in HMCS Cape Breton. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN (With seniority dated 01/05/1962). He served in HMCS Terra Nova as Engineer Officer. (He was released.)
