Biography
He came from Victoria BC. graduated from Victoria College in 1961 with a UBC degree in Zoology and Psychology (1st graduating class from what was to become UVic), an MSc from UWO in Physiology, and a PhD from U of T in Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology. Bill Clearihue notes "he's well published in Biochemistry, has a PhD from UofT and worked for the Defence Medical facility in Downsview ON."

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1956. In 1956-1958 he served in HMCS Malahat for UNTD. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R). (He was released 02/05/1958).
