Biography
He entered the Saskatchewan Civil Service. in the Department of Public Health. He retired in 1979.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a AC 2/c RCAF 25/06/1942. RCAF Saskatoon for #7 ITS 1942. He was appointed as a LAC RCAF 1942. RCAF Prince Albert for #6 Elementary Flying Instructor course 1942. RCAF Dauphin for #10 Service Flying Training School 1943. He was Awarded Wings 14/05/1942. (CFR) Pilot Officer RCAF 14/05/1942. He served in RCAF Rivers for Flying Instructor Course 1942. RCAF Saskatoon for #4 Service Flying Training school as Instructor 1943. Flying Officer RCAF 14/11/1943, (Transferred to RNVR 20/04/1945). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR 20/04/1945. He served in H.M.S. Macaw 1945. RN College Greenwich for Courses 1945. RAF Errol for #9 AFY 1945. He served in RNAS Hinstock for advanced Instrument Flying 1945. He served in H.M.S. Heron for 759 RN Squadron 1945. He served in RNAS Eglinton 1945. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (Temp.) RNVR 14/11/1945. Released 08/03/1946. Afterwards he joined CPR as a switchman. In 1946 he joined the RCMP as a recruit and purchased his release as a Constable in 31/07/1947. He rejoined the CPR to 1952 when he rejoined RCAF. Flying Officer RCAF 1952. While undergoing a flying refresher in a Harvard he suffered a broken neck in an accident and his flying career was ended. He resigned.
