Biography
He was living in Toronto ON at the time of his recruitment into the Navy. He is (2019) a lawyer currently living in Toronto. He was appointed as Deputy Minister of Health - Ontario. He served as Deputy Minister of the Environment - Ontario. He served as CEO - Cancer Care Ontario. He served as Chair of the Board - Canada Health Infoway. He served as Chair of the Board - Canadian Institute for Health Information. He served as Chairman - Organ Donation Ontario. He served as President - Friends of H.M.C.S. Haida.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Officer Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1960. He served in HMCS Prevost for UNTD 1960-1963. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) 1963. He was transferred to HMCS Star when HMCS Prevost was closed. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R). In 1966 he served in HMCS Star for Naval Control of Shipping Course 1966. (He was released.)

Anecdotes
He is currently (2015) a Director of the UNTD Association of Canada and has been for a number of years. He was awarded the Medal for the 125th Anniversary of Confederation and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal
