He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in H.M.S. Ameer for 804 RN Squadron RN. He served in HMS Shah for 804 Hellcat Squadron. (He was killed in action at Port Blair India in the Andaman Islands on 06/05/1945 hit by Japanese flak during Operation Bishop.) |
