Military Service |

He served at the reduction of Martinique and St Lucia, being promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral in 1812, his flag being hoisted on board HMS Chatham. Scott later commanded the British and Russian amphibious force that landed at South Beveland, and was promoted Vice-Admiral in 1819. |
