Biography
After his naval service he was a self-employed engineering consultant. EH Industries 1985. He was the Project Manager NSA/NSH Helicopter Project 1989-93.

Military Service
He was appointed as an Officer Cadet (E) RN (With seniority dated 01/01/1950). He served in the Royal Naval College Dartmouth 1950. He was appointed as a Midshipman (E) RN. He served in H.M.S. Vengeance for Royal Naval Engineering College for Basic Engineering Course. He was qualified as (A/E) (With seniority dated 01/09/1955). He served in RNAS Brawdy as Officer-in-Charge STN Flight. He served in AAEE Boscombe Down as Assistant Air Engineering Officer RN Test Squadron for 801 RN Squadron as Air Engineering Officer. He served in RNAS Brawdy/H.M.S. Centaur as Divisonal Officer. He served in H.M.S. Ganges. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (E) (AEM) RN. He served in RNAS Lossiemouth for 736 RN Squadron as Air Engineer Officer.
