Military Service
(Short Service Appointment). He was appointed as an A/Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 09/1953). In 1958 he served in HMCS Niobe. (Transferred to RCN(R)). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (CND) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 05/05/1963). He served in HMCS Brunswicker. In 1964 he was the Officer-in-Charge UNTD. (He was released.)
