Biography
He was the brother of David Alan Selby. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a BA in 1955 and a PhD from Stamford University. He was appointed as a Professor Emeritus at the University of texas at Austin TX in Anthropology.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Surgeon Cadet (UNTD) (RCN(R)) (With seniority dated 02/0/1/1951). He served in HMCS York for UNTD 1951-1954. (He was released.) In 1954 he was serving on the Retired list of the UNTD.
