Biography
He served with the Canadian Delegation to the International Supervisory Commission - Saigon in 1960. He was the Candian High Commissioner to Singapore 1982-1986. He had postings to postings in the Hague, the Netherlands (1961 to 1965); Ottawa (1965 to 1968); Colombo, Sri Lanka (1968 to 1971); Washington, DC (1971 to 1975); and Ottawa (1975 to 1982). He finished his career as High Commissioner in Singapore (1982 to 1986) and Malaysia (1990 to 1993).In 1987 he was the Director General Security Service Bureau External Affairs. After his reirement from 1996 to 2011 he served as a municipal councilor serving North Cowichan. .

He served in RCAF Centralia for #1 Flying Training School for Flight Training 1954. He served in RCAF Moose Jaw for #2 Flying Training School for Flight Training 1955. He was Awarded Wings 26/08/1955. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (P) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/09/1955). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R). He was appointed as an A/Lieutenant (P) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/09/1956). (He was released.)
